In this chapter, a historical overview of the management of cultural archives will be attempted, while emphasis will be placed on future prospects and modern methods of utilization and promotion. The aim is to transform archive spaces from repositories into “open museums”, showcasing their archival treasures in attractive new ways, which aim to entertain and educate their audience.
